Jewish people wanted their own take on the holiday season in the Christian-dominated culture they were both increasingly assimilating into and that was making Christmas into a much bigger deal than it was originally.

As if someone as rich as him even needs any money for it...I mean, it's so predatory, considering his hardcore base is often pretty low-income and desperate. They need the money far more than he does...

I feel like I wasted the five-figure sum I spent repairing my car after that accident last spring, because all sorts of little annoying things are now going wrong with it that would cost thousands to fix. But I don't have tens of thousands lying around to buy a nice new car. ?
