I was strongly criticised when I told an American friend that I didn't understand why one should register. And that the system seemed strange, with the gerrymandering and so on. They said I was attacking America. And to mind my own business. They were already pissed off because I didn't like Trump and aired my thoughts, so, no love was lost. Their toooes, long they were.

Years ago I took a few tests to check my biases. They were part of 'Project Implicit': a non-profit international collaborative of researchers interested in implicit social cognition, bias, and disparities.

You can check different things such as race, gender, and more biases. It was very interesting! ❤

Preemptively accuse opponents of being something YOU ARE to make it seem as if YOU ARE NOT like that.

Wilders, Forum voor Democratie (for instance):
Call 'the other side' the elite to win over 'the masses'.
While they themselves are the elite and don't care about the people.

I sometimes get low and blue and sad and more. That's when I should not send anything into the #Fediverse.

I try to remember that.
But I am not infallible 😬

@thomasfuchs I still have my 80's Yamaha amplifier and it's still going strong. A bit of contact spray and it's good to go but I will at some point need someone savvy enough to fix it for good ❤
