I deleted Twitter ages ago and refuse to create a new account even to see posts there. Nitter Redirect is a free Chrome extension that will redirect Twitter links to Nitter, which is "a free and open source alternative Twitter front-end focused on privacy and performance."

This f**king meme is driving me crazy. Where to begin?

First, the quote is wrong. The first paragraph is accurate, and he does use the word "plagiarism" later on, but the quote marks should end after the first paragraph. Someone else wrote the second part of the quote. In particular, Chomsky never compares ChatGPT to colonization.

Amused that people who are upset about #Musk removing the "block" feature are flocking to #Bluesky, whose founder and primary investor responded to Musk by writing: "100%. Mute only".

I've defended Bluesky in the past arguing that the women-led team is both better than- and independent of- #Jack, but still... If you really care about protecting users from #harassment Bluesky's record is somewhat spotty. Not to mention the fact that block lists are not private...
