I deleted Twitter ages ago and refuse to create a new account even to see posts there. Nitter Redirect is a free Chrome extension that will redirect Twitter links to Nitter, which is "a free and open source alternative Twitter front-end focused on privacy and performance."

I had a longer discussion with @pojntfx about this last year.
If I remember correctly, the only "acceptable" Browser left was #Mozilla's #Firefox, at least for non-#RottenApple systems.

Brave or Vivaldi are alternatives to Chrome and have their own qualities.
As long, as people are using other products, apart from the one provided by Google, it is a step in the right direction.
Needless to say: I still recommend Firefox (and I also use it), but it not the only "acceptable" choice.
