If Biden is now backing down about Trump being a threat to democracy (because I guess he thinks this rhetoric is just too hot for TV and contributed somehow to the shooting)

then why should anyone vote Biden. What's the remaining case for his own re-election?

@moira neither of them have climate reduction plans scientists say would be sufficient for continued life on earth. Neither are under that red line.

And furthermore, if you're going to enact any meaningful climate legislation, you need a plan for the Supreme Court and Biden refuses to confront them.

It is fun that Trump has to get a new VP because he kinda tried to incite a bunch of people to string him up, but the vibe everyone has seems to be "yeah I guess presidents just get new VPs sometimes"
