@bot@victor@nosat@exosome lol, right now you're probably right about trading crack for stuff, but in the west people are still comfortable. During communism in eastern europe black markets were a part of daily life to get around rationing and capital controls. there was literally a parallel black market which offered pretty much everything on the white market, and everyday people all used it.
@bot@victor@nosat@exosome use it to buy something else from someone else selling something I want on the black market. People are able to trade drugs for goods and services without using money at all, it happens every day. It is just all black market. But face it, if they phase out cash, many things deemed as legal and normal to have right now will become black market products. Black markets will become normal for everyday people when they have exceeded their climate allowance and still need to buy necessities
@exosome@victor@nosat I disagree with you on this because nobody is forcing monero on anyone, it is an option which exists, which is open and accessible to all. You are free to use it if you want, or to not use it. It isn't a jewish plot, it is a technology which could allow you to circumvent jewish market control, manipulation, and surveillance.
@exosome@victor@nosat They are telling us what they are planning. I think monero will be a valuable tool in avoiding this kind of shit being discussed in the video. I agree with much of what you have to say in your posts, but the reality is that governments will move in lockstep globally to phase out cash and herd people into CBDCs. if we are going to have programmable money, it's better that it be open source and programmed to protect our privacy and freedom, than to have expiry dates and be programmed to be unable to use for "less desirable" purchases as they put it. I prefer cash to any crypto and try and use cash as much as humanly possible in real life, but the writing is on the wall, cashless digital slavery is on its way and digital cash is essential if we plan on maintaining any sort of financial freedom and the ability to transact in black markets.
