@exosome @victor @nosat They are telling us what they are planning. I think monero will be a valuable tool in avoiding this kind of shit being discussed in the video. I agree with much of what you have to say in your posts, but the reality is that governments will move in lockstep globally to phase out cash and herd people into CBDCs. if we are going to have programmable money, it's better that it be open source and programmed to protect our privacy and freedom, than to have expiry dates and be programmed to be unable to use for "less desirable" purchases as they put it. I prefer cash to any crypto and try and use cash as much as humanly possible in real life, but the writing is on the wall, cashless digital slavery is on its way and digital cash is essential if we plan on maintaining any sort of financial freedom and the ability to transact in black markets.
