@inthehands @stephstephking I was an English major and have been a software engineer for almost 30 years. Close reading and literary analysis are also extremely valuable skills for software development.

@nova the right side of the Mastodon iOS app has a tab called “Posts”. I’m not sure what feeds that and I haven’t figured out how to find it on any other client, but I spent over an hour yesterday scrolling it and discovering all kinds of interesting stuff.
