Can anyone recommend a self-hosted password management system? Ideally, it’ll have its own iOS app but that’s not a deal-breaker if the system is good enough. Thanks in advance 👍🏻

@alex You’re right, I’m using Akkoma. However, the Mastodon front end shows/allows the correct amount of characters so if it was a read error, the error would be present in all front ends..?

@alex I’m on Soapbox v3.2.0-72065ff and despite setting a character limit of 5,000 in the backend, I’m only able to post to a limit of 500. This has never been an issue with Soapbox before. Any idea what could be limiting me?

Ah, I thought you were telling me that I wasn’t using Soapbox as my main frontend.

The install was originally Pleroma, but I migrated it over to Akkoma.

Within the prod.secret.exs file, is there a particular block I need to comment out or remove entirely?

Nothing should have been touched or changed and Soapbox FE was previously working perfectly. I have no idea why anything like that would have been changed.

Does “nonce-YwgAisJYooypwLw” mean anything and why is it weird?

Do you know what I’d be looking for in prod.secret.exs to change/fix?

I have absolutely no idea. The only thing I ever customised (other than the theme through the UI) is the raw JSON data, but only to add custom like emojis.

There’s no colour to anything other than avatars; the colour palette is black on white. Assets aren’t displaying, like check boxes and dropdown options.

Also, images won’t upload; this process gets stuck on “uploading”.

@alex Please help… Soapbox isn’t displaying properly and I can’t figure out why. Previously, it was working flawlessly but after an update a while back, everything went a bit crappy. Any idea what’s causing this and how I can fix it?

We’re going to IKEA tomorrow to buy a bunch of furniture. My wife loves it there, but I hate it and can’t put my finger quite on why that is.

A few years ago when we went to IKEA, I got bored and restless. My wife was checking out wardrobes so I wandered a couple of wardrobes down and discreetly climbed into one, planning on scaring my wife when she came to open the door.

I waited patiently and through the crack in the door, I saw some movement so poised myself for the jump scare.

The door opened and I screamed RRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!

The woman in the blue and yellow IKEA uniform screamed AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!

I then got a massive bollocking for climbing into the wardrobe and for scaring the living shit out of an innocent store worker.

Ironically, my wife had wandered off in the other direction and was completely oblivious to the commotion ??♂️

I think an algorithm is a slippery slope. Can an algorithm truly work properly for that purpose?
