@dansup the browsing profile posts (swipe to see next hopefully) is one I've been wanting

My complaints about loops is that much of the context is literally TikTok posts.

I also can't seem to mute, block, not see users. I'm sorry but there is content I don't want to see, and should be able to.

Anyway hope these products quickly mature, the user base is clearly growing rapidly.

As much as I want pixelfed and loops to be great, I'm struggling with the MVP right now.

In pixelfed app on Android it has 2 annoying limits, half of the comment text is cut off, and there is seemingly no good way to browse two important things... Hashtags/ searches and user profile pics. It's either a collage or one, back one...

Also I can't just go into my existing follow list on this acct and import it, and then cooly look at photos, I can't seem to get it to open that list or follow...

@RickiTarr I would take a non huge phone, with a replaceable battery with expandable storage, but... No one makes it.

@PaulaToThePeople Hiking can be fantastic, the limitations are transportation, and possibly gear (footwear, and weather appropriate attire). Urban exploring, can be fun as well, with the dog.
If you need gamification, I used to do geocaching and that was a fun way to find places you wouldn't otherwise know of for walking and exercising.
I think for low impact, and good for both you and dog, either could be a good time.
