The best way to learn about fascism is to learn about the man who coined the term; Benito Mussolini. What he said/promised his people is important, but what and how he did those things is critical to understanding what it is.

Side note: In the early 1930's, when the Great depression was raging, fascism enjoyed a brief popularity in the US. Their slogan? Make America Great Again. I kid you not--look it up.
