@mattly I think you might be thinking of the upgrade to 0.19, when they removed the previous way of extending or something. I saw both sides. Ports+Subscriptions are a clean way of interacting w/the outside world, though a bit tedious at times.

@mattly you mean ports or extensions? I didn't mind ports. I thought they were clean. I don't write much client side these days, but I have a few old Elm apps I maintain.

Elm is _still_ 0.19?!
