why can't we have more of this dammit

I don't know how I missed this but apparently the next software from the RPG Maker series is "Action Game Maker" and it looks pretty good. I've no interest in making an action game, but I have friends that really want to so I hope it works well for them. It's also made in Godot instead of the absolute failed attempt of RPG Maker Unite being made in Unity, so prospects are much better there.

@LukeAlmighty I love how "in a pub with randos" can refer to an actual irl pub or an online public lobby

@LukeAlmighty I have absolutely zero interest in the new zelda whatsoever. I've never really been a huge fan of the 2d games but this one looks even less interesting to me.

ahhhh shit i didn't expect the nagatoro figure package to arrive this soon! i heard someone knocking on the door yesterday but i was still basically asleep so i didn't care ToT now i gotta go pick it up from the post office. gonna have to ride my scooter over there and then uber back which sucks.

oh well, guess i can play ff16 for the next two hours until they open, grab it, then come home and go to bed.

@LukeAlmighty the government actually doesn't give a single shit about piracy. the entities who own the copyrights do and so the government has to enforce copyright law if said entities get mad enough. most of the time though it's not even a legal issue it's just threats for cutting off services and things of that nature. when there are legal issues, it's usually towards the crackers and major distributors, not downloaders. that's why people in the scene try to stay anonymous.

@ChristiJunior this wasn't a hard choice for me to make, but it's still unfortunate that i had to make the choice.

My family SUCKS ASS at planning anything. I took two days off because they couldn't make up their damn minds on when we were going to meet up and apparently now it's not happening at all.
