@LukeAlmighty gate to sovngarde does adjust difficulty and enhance combat supposedly. i think i saw in a video that it removes leveled enemies and that you are encouraged to wait to go to bleak falls barrow until you're like level 15.

been thinking about playing minecraft again and getting a bunch of mods. stuff like different terrain generation, more structures, shaders, just some stuff that can kind of enhance immersion a little bit.

i've also been thinking about playing skyrim with one of those extreme mod packs. "gate to sovngarde" looked particularly interesting to me.

@LukeAlmighty our money would legitimately be better spent in the sinkhole that is cancer research than weapons of mass destruction for people with wildly different ideals in a place 99% of us won't ever step foot in.

@LukeAlmighty israel has been poking (/beating) them with a stick for a very long time so i'm not surprised. but at the end of the day it is their squabble. i'm across the ocean from them and we have tons of issues over here. billions and billions of dollars sent overseas instead of put to good use here. not to mention that by sending shit we inadvertently prolong things which just leads to more death. in fact we are absolutely part of the original problem to begin with, a problem that likely wouldn't be nearly this large if we stayed in our own lane for ONCE.

inb4 "voting doesn't matter" but i won't vote for anyone if their platform includes anything about israel other than not engaging in any sort of relationship with them whatsoever.

i just hate how the us has to get involved in everyone else's fucking business when we have more than enough problems on our own soil. problems that, if addressed, would do far more good than giving weapons to people to destroy each other with.

@anemone yeah it makes sense. it's just funny that they are keeping the servers alive for 200 players after already losing a shit ton of money. it feels worse than just admitting the loss and fading into obscurity because with these updates people can just keep dunking on it and content farming.

@anemone oh apparently they are contractually obligated to keep putting things out because the season pass promised 4 seasons xD so we're getting very close to EOS then it seems.

@LukeAlmighty @teto i genuinely don't think that many people care about releasing older games or remakes or whatever and not changing anything about them for "modern times." look at lollipop chainsaw, it didn't get anywhere close to as much bad press as stellar blade did because it's an old game and nobody gives a shit. developers could 100% not change anything and do away with the cringe warnings that show up before the title screen and nobody would care. when you go and start censoring things that already existed though, that's when people start to care. it is not something that is done "so that copies can sell in america" that's just what the creators are being led to believe by the retards trying to push this stuff.

regardless of whatever the programmers or managers of godot say or think, or who they ban from what, the fact remains that it is open source and publicly available. this is one reason why open source is so important, so that the software can be detached from the ones who made it. if this were something like unreal engine then they could simply revoke your license to use the engine if they so desired, but with godot that's not an option. so keep using it if that's what you like to use because it can't be taken from you.

@tomie my thoughts on this game take me back to when i was a teenager and all i wanted to do was shoot things in call of duty lmao. like it does look like a very well made and fun game but my interest in it is in the negatives because i just wanna swing a sword around and kill stuff (which is great because i'm playing ff16 atm lol)
