Falls das stimmt sollten die Hacker das Schweizer Äquivalent zum Bundesverdienstkreuz bekommen. Paywalls gehören zusammen mit Dingen wie Infinite Scrolling zu den Tumoren des Internets.

I would count the German ICE as an example for Awesome but Impractical. It can be fast but it can be annoying that you can't open the windows. An Intercity is a bit slower, but you can open the windows.

There is a reason why we Germans have certain memes about the Deutsche Bahn

(Part of the hostility against the own customers is that they want to purge cash and force their own customers to use smartphones and apps.)

It's a kinda noice side-effect of the European Football Championship, that foreigners and international press like the New York Times and the British Independent have noticed it.
