    @Moon I hadn't used linux in awhile and finally got an old acer laptop with an i3-3100 running with Xubuntu 22.04LTS only to find if I try to make text documents and scripts by default they put apostrophes around the file by default if you run a ls command in terminal and had to modify my .bashrc file to have it prompt with literal formatting to fix it.

    Not sure why they facilitated this change since i last used linux back in 12.04LTS but it's a really stupid one imo. The OS feels smooth and works great on older hardware but it's little nuances from things I'm used to years ago that are mildly annoying

    I still need to get a new battery / charger / and ram for it though. The battery I have currently drains really quick ( over 10 years old ) , the charger gets way too warm charging it while powered on , and the machine only has 6GB of ram and I might upgrade it to 16GB since ram is cheap enough nowadays for DDR3.

    @coolboymew @hiro I've never seen a pikmin 2 in the wild Gamecube or Wii I had to pirate the wii version. I got Pikmin 3 on Wii U but I think that got a switch port. The wii u port may be worth something to collectors down the road though.

    I had issues with mine at first. It wouldn't let me boot past Xell but after the 2nd nand flash it booted right. For me the hardest part was soldering the 30 guage wire to the resistor and diode. I gotta work on my technique with soldering stranded wire.

    The whole reason I did the mod was so the console could theoretically be region free and I could play Otomedius Gorgeous (game is JPN region locked ) & Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets without having to open my sealed copy

    Decided to stay up all night but I finally got around to doing an RGH 3.0 mod on my Falcon Xbox 360 a friend gave me. I still have the console apart though I replaced the belt in the DVD drive but I'm waiting for some white lithium grease to come in the mail so I can lubricate the drive rails and try mechanism. Once that's done i just need to get a 1TB HDD to replace the 20GB HDD and then the 360 should be good to go.

    I kinda wish it was a jasper 360 though since they're considered more reliable than Falcons but Falcons are still considered pretty reliable
