I had issues with mine at first. It wouldn't let me boot past Xell but after the 2nd nand flash it booted right. For me the hardest part was soldering the 30 guage wire to the resistor and diode. I gotta work on my technique with soldering stranded wire.

The whole reason I did the mod was so the console could theoretically be region free and I could play Otomedius Gorgeous (game is JPN region locked ) & Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets without having to open my sealed copy
