@AnimeTradCath @Agartha_Noble @Godcast @LuffWaffen_Luffy @sickburnbro it can be quantified, theoretically, but the math is just extremely abstruse and there is not even the possibility of experimentation with current technology. so it becomes kind of the physics equivalent of Austrian Economics style a priori reasoning devoid of real world testing

@sickburnbro @AnimeTradCath @Agartha_Noble @Godcast @LuffWaffen_Luffy Sure but that's a completely different kind of problem. String theory is experiment free noodling, it doesn't somehow call into question the basic reliability of the experimental results underlying the Standard Model

@sickburnbro @Agartha_Noble @Godcast @LuffWaffen_Luffy The replication crisis is real and widespread but anyone who thinks it supports the idea that the earth is 6000 years old is retarded

@AnimeTradCath @Agartha_Noble @Godcast @LuffWaffen_Luffy @sickburnbro It destroys "social psychology" as a discipline, yes, as well as much of contemporary medical and nutritional studies. Doesn't impact radioisotope dating lol

@AnimeTradCath @Agartha_Noble @Godcast @LuffWaffen_Luffy @sickburnbro I wouldn't call it a "novelty take" it's more of a cope to deal with the inability to generate sufficient energy to test hypotheses. So the idea is we can just use pure mathematical hypotheses that we don't need to empirically test. Sour grapes

@TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @Robert_Edwardly @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin it was a hypothetical consideration. so was the atmosphere catching on fire during/after the Trinity test. again: learn physics

@TinyFern @Agartha_Noble @LuffWaffen_Luffy @Robert_Edwardly @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin it's not about credentials, at all. Germar Rudolf didn't get his credential, so what, his math checks out. the issue here is, does the math check out. if you can do the math enough to verify for yourself whether the math checks out or not, that's all that matters. no math degree required

@Robert_Edwardly @TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin what is there to engage with? the opposing side here has advanced arguments ranging from "matter doesn't require mass" to "maybe the laws of physics used to be different, just because" to retarded shit about dust on the moon that is so retarded even their own marginally less retarded "creation scientists" debunked it in nineteen ninety fucking three

@Robert_Edwardly @TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin this isn't a matter of what is or isn't fashionable in academia, it's a matter of how math and science work at a fundamental level. it's a question of, do you understand math past arithmetic/algebra, and do you understand how empirical experimental inquiry intersects with knowledge about reality.

@Robert_Edwardly @TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin see this is all just your projection
as noted in another reply to you I have ***DEFENDED*** intelligent design right here on poast as part of this overarching discourse, precisely because I understand math =

@Robert_Edwardly @TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin lmao it's not a "hill to die on" if it's impregnable. I suppose it might be worth considering a more adroit manner to deal with the apparently large number of ignorant maleducated americans who baselessly believe themselves to be entitled to an opinion on these issues, but on the whole I'm quite happy to ruthlessly attack YEC any time anyone expresses it

@Robert_Edwardly @TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin "the moon should have more dust" as an objection to the standard cosmological model is "if jesus were all powerful he should have summoned eagles to fly to Mordor" tier. it's beneath contempt

@Robert_Edwardly @TinyFern @LuffWaffen_Luffy @TheEternalAnglo @hazlin >No one finds "learn x" compelling
I don't care? I mean, nobody who knows X would be yelling the kind of retarded shit that has been yelled at me for however many days it's been. so, learn X is an entirely reasonable response. I'm not going to pretend to regard people who barely scraped past quadratic functions as worthy of a considered response

It's understandable why someone would think "what difference does it make what the shape of the earth is or how old it is" but this is the wrong attitude.
1) Our movement is on the side of TRUTH. Truth matters. And the truth is, the answer to these questions are known and have been known for a long time (in the case of the shape of the earth, known for thousands of years).
2) These questions were answered by greatest Aryan men of Faustian spirit. Preserving White people and White culture means preserving White accomplishments. Physics, chemistry, astronomy, spaceflight--when you embrace retarded illiterate/innumerate schizo theories, you denigrate the greatest intellectual achievements of the White man.
3) YEC/Flat Earth is utterly repulsive to the highly intelligent (>2SD+) and the movement will never go anywhere without this critical segment at the right tail of the bell curve. At a minimum, if you believe in YEC, you need to shut up about it forever

@VarnaNecropolis @SuperLutheran @Shadowman311 Is the claim here that the Andromeda galaxy is not a physical place?

@SuperLutheran @VarnaNecropolis @Shadowman311 This isn't nearly as clever as you think it is. For example, to begin with, Buddhism is not "monistic"
