being called an idiot for not having a "coherent and actionable" plan to stop AI

here is our coherent and actionable plan for stopping AI: the people who work at these slop companies who agree with us that it should be stopped should say, as if in union, "i refuse to work on this technology"

instead of privately going "i wish i could, and i would do it, but nobody can put together a plan, and if we don't make good AI, then bad AI will ruin everything forever"

@ryanc we read a MUST NOT w/r/t number of types of names in the RFC, so, since we're already out on the fringes we're gonna stick with the standardized padding extension

our hot take in cpu design is that intel should have finished the pattern with `AX` having `AH` and `AL` parts, so you could do `EAXH` for the topmost 16 bits, `EAXHH` for the topmost byte, *is yoinked off the stage by a large hook, vaudeville style*

this guy on the freebsd forums is trying to configure his entire stack with DHCP because he has built his entire stack around an NFS export of / that he uses as the diskless root and refuses to understand that this is an incredibly, vividly bad idea

like, no, man, you have to configure something statically and you absolutely should not be exporting your diskless server's rOOT FILE SYSTEM as the thing your clients BOOT TO. this is going to fuck you hard in ways you don't expect!
