@foxysen the PS1 beat the N64 to market but I find that PS1 games tend to look better? Crash, MGS, Megaman Legends, Rayman... Even with the PS1's weird texture wobble.

@foxysen I mean besides a texture bump and a higher resolution it's not markedly different; Although I remember the GOG version having like, zero controller support, lol, I wonder if that got patched

Funny thing is, right, a certain kind of person will read this and think "Oh, you should get three meals, a bed and a livable wage in prison? That's living better than I do" and somehow doesn't think that it's incredible how shit our lives are under capitalism that prison starts looking like an enticing proposition. If we aren't living better than the literally incarcerated population, what are we doing?

Do... Do we have an image file format with alt text baked in??? Is that a thing? If it isn't, how??? And if it is, why aren't we using it?

You know, without Web3 NFT bullshit, there was a lost era of decentralized gaming back when it wasn't cost effective to have massive servers for users. Old games which used the host/join system. Hell, just games where one client in a LAN also acted as the server computer. I get it, it's just easier to run all your online interactions through Nintendo, but like... Those old games can still go online, whereas everything else just died. That's sad and we should make that a consideration again.
