@skinnylatte Tangent: i once visited that Columbarium just north east of the Golden Gate park in SF once and found it so beautiful and so heartbreaking.

@skinnylatte Last time I crossed was from Malaysia to Singapore, on 1 March 2026. In addition to the extra checks that they were doing (which stranded us on a bus on the causeway for a good hour), I was unlucky by queuing up behind a faulty gate, then changing gates only to find myself behind *another* faulty gate.

I saw your post about hot sauce, specifying "pantry" instead of "fridge", as soon as you posted it, and I'm still trying to recover from the "pantry"-induced stress.

Like... the accuracy with which my brain can instantaneously conjure up the feeling of ants biting at my ankles is quite something.

@irfan @aral @jeromechoo I had planned to mix some veggies through it also, but I couldn't find organic versions of the veggies I liked, so I ended up just having a pear for lunch dessert to at least still get some vitamins in that meal 🤷♀️

@loke just a week; half of which seems to be passing at the woodlands checkpoint 😑

@loke they’ve closed the gates, only opening them for 4 or so pax per gate every 15 minutes

@loke got off the bus over an hour ago. Only just made it through the gates. Now waiting for customs. Took the bus to cross the causeway at 18h. It’s 2 hours later now

@loke must say that it looked like I was very unlucky and queued up behind a malfunctioning gate, only to be moved to a new queue and getting stuck behind someone whose passport wasn’t being accepted

@loke if I don’t make it through customs within the next hour, I have no chance of collecting the luggage from the storage on time 😩

@loke my friends took 30 minutes from clearing gates to clearing customs, so there’s still hope
