@AndreasEsch @kibcol1049 The question is not if there is intelligent life. The question is why doesn't it want to have to do anything with us. And then you look at this world: The greatest destroyers are the leaders of this planet. We destroy our selves (globally and most people also personally). Why should intelligent life want to communicate with such a hopeless species. Maybe Star Trek IV (and other sci-fi) was right: Whales or some other "animals" are the real intelligence of this planet.

@kibcol1049 That's very spiritual. Do you follow the dao or another path? Seem's almost like close buddhahood.

@kibcol1049 It's often attributed to Feynman, but also in some religious texts. And even then there was almost guarantied a drunken Greek guy thinking/saying it a few thousand years ago.

@martinlentink @kibcol1049 I'm generally sceptic about "intellectual property". Maybe every knowledge is just part of the "collective unconscious of humanity". Like Huxley's theory of "omniscience in every human".
