Several schools across Florida, Georgia, and Colorado are piloting "Campus Guardian Angels", remotely operated drones that can reach a shooter within 15 seconds, traveling at 60 mph, smashing through windows, and blasting pepper spray, sirens, and flashing lights. The drones are teleoperated from Austin, Texas, but serious questions remain about misidentification risks.

The reality is a person is good until they’re bad and the precautions to address ‘bad’ people would have to include mental screening that a lot of ‘my liberty’ people would object to. 1:2
Guns increase the potential scope for violence just by being in the situation as an available tool to 'resolve' it. They're also a psychological trigger, ramping up anxieties, expectations, and giving the owner a sense of power and entitlement. Think about road rage. Gun rage is even worse.
