@civodul Either we start to meet our users where they are, or we accept abandoning them.
That 40% includes people completely unfamiliar with technology, we need to start giving importance to designing UX that they are already familiar with.

@equinox @csantosb @zwol @krans @civodul Because it's a 0 dependency build system. It only requires the Guile runtime, so the threading library is Fibers[1] ported to pure scheme. The advantage of this is that it's embeddable and it can bootstrap itself, meaning that the build system of BLUE is BLUE. You can check out the blueprint[2] of the project to see how it's really building itself.

You are missing out! Being a user of software written in the same language that you use for extending it is such a treat!
BLUE has many features besides being embeddable. Being a good target for LLM ingestion may not be one of those, and that's fine. The project is a love letter to the community.
We may not have a sales pitch for big corp LLM, but that's okay.
BLUE is developed for your freedom and ours.
Just letting you know that BEN (Buffer ENvironments), my fork of `envrc.el`, is already available in MELPA and GUIX.
It provides per-buffer asynchronous environments for Emacs. You can finally use long computations, such as `guix time-machine` within you `.envrc` files!
@ekaitz_zarraga @janneke I'm also quite bothered by Emacs, unfortunately it's the best worst thing we have :p
@janneke you sound like Friedrich Engels 🧐
@cwebber this is some of the goodies I was saying Spritely would appreciate!
What do you think, would Goblins benefit from the backtraces improvements? If there is enough interest we can get this into core Guile, so everyone benefits from the improvements. It's unfortunate that @wingo didn't get to see the presentation, so I think he missed the backtraces improvements BLUE made.
@cwebber @wingo For those outside of the loop. This is how Guile backtraces look when using BLUE's enhancements.
All the credit should goes to my friend and wizard [Olivier](https://codeberg.org/old) who implemented this backtraces enhancements!
