bad idea: USB-C flash drive shaped like a 5.25" floppy disk.
and it checks which way you plugged it in, and only shows you that half of the files. You want to see the other files? flip it over!

@Viss @ryanc I've heard this is how Chic-Fil-A operates as well. Every restaurant has a on-site kubernetes cluster to run the registers and wifi and inventory and such.
job listings in 2025 are weird.
I never would have guessed a car wash even needed an on-site kubernetes cluster
as a reverse engineer, I've got to complement newer languages on how they seem to leak source code names like a sieve. thanks, it makes my job way easier.
1673 matches across 815 files
surely they can't have made that mistake too many times, though.

@dalias @puppygirlhornypost2 it's also one of those projects where if I wanted to do it, I'd need to over-do it, and I don't have the hard drive space to save every single android game
@dalias @puppygirlhornypost2 nah, android preservation is not something I do
null cannot be cast to non-null type com.tumblr.configurabletabs.dependency.component.ConfigurableTabsComponent
GEE I WONDER WHAT IT MIGHT BE CALLED AND WHAT PACKAGE IT IS IN
I love it when android apps are like "we need to obfuscate all our classes so no one can reverse engineer our app!"
"also, every class needs a toString that says what class it is! that's just good programming!"
I just realized my phone has the same size hard drive as my stupid laptop.
I'm not sure how to deal with this
looking through my old files, I found that I have hacked on one of these games before.
I hacked on Solar Winds (1993) for DOS closer to its release than today!
I also found an image that's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The whole book.
it's 42,000 pixels tall
it was compiled with Turbo-C, either 1.5 or 2.0
I'm not sure if this compiler was inline-happy, if the programmer was macro happy, or if they just loved copy-pastin'
me: I'm gonna start on hacking another DOS game. Hopefully it won't be another one with horrible memory mapping problems
Ghidra: STRYKER.EXE loaded. 71 CODE segments found
me: WHAT THE FUCK
okay I'm back to trying to do the floppy hack correctly (so, on a DD disk) and OH NO I have to figure out where the sector is again.
I hate converting between LBA and CHS
track 44, side B, sector 3
