@silverpill @mkljczk @caohuak I'm not much of a fan of authfetch, given how easy it is to circumvent, but I know some people swear by it, so I have a question/proposal: how much more expensive would it be to query the user's domain blocks too when deciding whether to respond to a request or not?

My rationale for doing this would be that, without authfetch, for a given user their own blocks and instance-level filters do the same thing (just a mute), while if authfetch is enabled, then suddenly instance level blocks become more powerful and important. This has caused me problems as an admin, when some users want their "obvious" blocks elevated to the instance level, while others leave due to having too many of these.

@whiteline @icedquinn there was a mod that supposedly made the ai smarter, but then everyone complained it played like a minmaxed meta sweat (idk, I never played it, and I think it doesn even work with the current version)

@icedquinn @whiteline Eh you just don't get it. It's fun being able to play as a fanatical pacifist and then provoke an interstellar war by sending an envoy to piss off someone's govt and cap it off by yelling over comms to their ambassador something like "Are you in great physical pain or is that your thinking face?"

@icedquinn last time I've played it (when 4.0 came out) it was ok but just horribly buggy, like ai imploding itself or some buildings not working (plus several hilarious free money exploits that required a combination of stuff from 3 different dlcs), idk if they fixed this already.
