    @RustyCrab i've said it before but if someone were to start making a serious foss video editor, not like kdenlive but one that could be used for actual professional work in the vein of resolve or avid media composer, i don't know how to write software but i'll do the next best thing and throw money at them.

    @f0x @prettygood @karn if you want a real answer i think not everyone is comfortable being on camera as themselves, and the layer of anonymity helps some women express themselves honestly. i mean sure a lot of vtubers also do irl facecam streams and a lot of them straight up do porn as well and i tend to not like watching them. but for every one of those theres ones like marimari_en and grimmi who have actual weapons grade autism. or like shondo who suffers from schizoaffective disorder but supports herself and her family by being a weird schizo online. i don't think there's many people like that who'd be comfortable being an irl streamer.
