#THEY_LIED_TO_YOU
The war is not over!
We are still suffering
The killing continues, and so does the displacement. Life remains unbearably difficult
The war is still ongoing, and our suffering grows with each passing day
Three years of injustice, and we still haven't reached safety ‼️

Dáire here posting for Aseel ❤️

Thank you for your continued care towards Aseel and her family ❤️

This was my breakfast today🤍
Fattoush (it’s made of bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, lemon, parsley, and olive oil).
Orzo soup.
Alhamdulillah.

Help me have food every day 🥹🫂
Any amount you give will be the reason my family and I can break our fast after a long day of fasting.

This is Sarour 🥹
his name means joy
I found him alone in the street, small and very thin. He held onto me
After Lisa passed away, I didn’t plan to bring another cat into my life But if I hadn’t taken him, I don’t know what would have happened to him out there alone
We live in tents and face hunger, so imagine what animals in the streets endure.
I’ve been caring for Sarour for a month and a half now
Please welcome my new friend 💕

Thx 4 ur heart💕

Hello everyone 💕
I’ve received your donations, and thanks to your support I was able to get a new phone.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart… what you did for me is not just a phone, but a real chance for me to continue my studies that I had to pause, and a chance to reconnect with you again.
I’ll be returning to Gaza Verified verification calls soon.
Endless thanks to all of you, to Aral and Casey, and to everyone who helped.
Aseel is back
Hello again, Mastodon 💕
@aral @casey

I’ve received the fees for this semester.
Enough has been raised for me to finally sit the exam.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your efforts and your trust.
Around 570 JOD has been collected… there are people whose impact was truly immense, and I will never forget what they did.
I am deeply grateful to have kind-hearted people like you.
I’m heading to my exam now—please wish me success.
The exam lasts less than two hours.
Wish me luck. 💛🥹

I finished the exam a few minutes ago… it wasn’t bad.
I was a little late getting in, which made me nervous,
but I’m truly satisfied and I feel that I answered well.
I hope my result will be good.
I love you all 🤍

Can you share it 🥺
@aral @casey @gaza @cagnottespourgaza

Tomorrow is my first exam.
I am unable to sit for my exams because I cannot afford to pay the required fees.
I am asking you with a heavy heart—as a student who is unable to continue his education.
Any amount you are able to contribute could help me take this exam.
I am not asking for much…
only for my right to education,
a right I am unable to secure on my own😔💔

My family, our cats & I have no shelter
Our tent flooded—water mixed w/ mud.
Heavy rain hits our fabric home like stones
I’m sick, helpless & completely broken

Any help from you = life for us… a better life💔

Those who know me know that I haven’t moved on from Lisa yet, and that my love for her only grows.
I promised myself that I would never raise another cat, because Lisa was my daughter, and I wanted her memory to stay with me.
But when I saw her… broken, in pain, crying out for help… I couldn’t help but imagine Lisa when she was sick.
Lisa was overcome by illness — but this one, we can still save🤍

Who is she?
A cat with no family, all alone on the street…
Her body is covered in wounds, she has the flu,
she’s sneezing heavily and has lost her voice.
Her bones are showing.
She desperately needs to see a veterinarian.
She needs food, a warm home,
and she needs medical treatment.
I’m unable to cover her treatment costs due to my financial situation.
If you’re willing to help—even with just a few dollars
we might be able to raise enough to save her life.

A short trip from my current home to my former one.
It’s only the second time I’ve gone there, yet it feels like the first all over again… the same pain, the same helplessness.
Behind my smile, there are countless tears, but we keep pretending to be patient all the time

If u wanna help me directly I have paypal which is faster

Who am I?

I'm Aseel, l from Ga*za. I'm 20 years old.
I’m a daughter of a land that has lived fear, hunger, and displacement

I study Computer Systems Engineering,
I went from being a university student to becoming the only provider for my family during the war.

Not long ago, I lost Liza… my cat, my baby, and the closest soul to my heart.
Everyone who knows me knows Liza. Maybe many of you first recognized me because of her, because she was always by my side

This was the worst popcorn I've ever made in my life 😂

Never make it over firewood — it will give you a completely unsatisfying result 🥲

I regret craving popcorn at all 🫣 @aral

I asked her, and it turns out there’s a 15% fee from her bank.
So it’s 2.9% from GoFundMe, then 15% from her bank, then 9% from PayPal when she sends the money to us, and after that, when we withdraw it here, there’s about a 20% fee (it’s not a fixed rate — it changes from day to day, but lately it’s been around 20%)

I feel stupid now😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@aral @Geri @AsarSameer @gaza_verified_campaigns @raphaellakay @kathimmel @FediWouter @joynewacc He didn’t say that, but last week we requested money from GoFundMe.
We wanted 500, and when he transferred it to us, it was only 395.
And he even sent us a screenshot showing that
