I’m Aseel, a member of Gaza Verified. For the past year, I’ve been helping others with Aral and Casey. I haven’t asked for help for myself in a long time because I honestly feel ashamed and embarrassed to do so. But right now, I really need it. My family is struggling to afford the basic things we need to live in Gaza. We receive no free aid, so we have to buy everything, even food. My father cannot work, and we are all still students. I used to receive some help through Bluesky, but I haven’t had an account there for over five months, and since then I haven’t received help for food. Our situation keeps getting worse.
