@BowsacNoodle @WoodshopHandman @Turdicus @Rwoeidk It's five years for a journeyman, but you should get a pay increase every year before you reach it. The Boomers are retiring/dying and everyone was getting a liberal arts degree so there's no one to replace them.

@WoodshopHandman @Turdicus @Rwoeidk I don't know what state you're in, but a lot of them offer incentives/programs for trade schools. Industrial electricians, plumbers, and welders are in high demand. You may also try your local trade unions to see if they are taking anyone.
