To all those who kept saying “you can’t just call all these people Nazis” for years, they *are* indeed all fucking Nazis and if you still don’t see it, you’re most likely one yourself.

Just returned from a ski tour through western Jämtland. Started from from Storulvån and did a loop of nearly 100km past Sylarna, Helags, Vålådalen and back. Partially off trail. Conditions were ok‘ish. Quite stormy at times. Not a lot of snow and lots of ice.

If you want to play a bit with the new invite system I'm working on: https://dev.jwchat.org/xmpp.html

You will need a client like Monal, Conversations or yaxim pre-installed for this to work.

Also, there shouldn't be an account pre-configured yet.

(You can create accounts there as you wish, the server should be mostly operable, but no guarantees. Data and service can and will disappear without notice at any given time)

We’re getting there!

Friendly reminder, yes it’s better to use Signal than WhatsApp or any other messenger of the big ones, but if decentralization is of any importance to you, you’d better be off with #XMPP.

If you need an account, send me a message and I’ll create one for you on my server at jwchat.org.

Check https://joinjabber.org/docs/apps/ for a curated list of modern, user-friendly clients.

That’s probably what you’re experiencing. It’s less of a problem with the protocol but more like conventions set by the current implementations with the widest adoption.

People always defend #capitalism as just being the natural order of things. If #nature was anything like capitalism, there’d be only one big fat tree in a forest. One lion killing all the other animals, no matter if they are hungry or not. Nature has an intrinsic idea of coexistence that capitalism completely lacks. Instead there’s just dominance and control.

Sweden’s reactionary christ-democrats (KD) want to take away my right to vote since they fear it could make a difference. People voting on what affects their lives threatens politicians’ affairs. Can’t make that up.

x86 or Arm64 for a new XMPP server? Not like I haven't made up my mind already. #xmpp #arm64

@thomasfuchs it’s a total game changer for the hiking community and kills Garmin‘s inReach feature. Admittedly that’s just a tiny community not worth looking at from Apple‘s perspective. I guess
