In 2yrs tops, the defiance against big corpo and mainstream social media will be so strong that a vast majority of the users will turn to a slower life, in order to own their knowledge instead of absorbing pre-digested content.
They'll start diving into #books again.

@djlink @sinbad when you say "in big tech thesalaries have got pretty silly", in what direction?
I'm a gamedev myself, I barely know what money looks like.

@sinbad @djlink What scares me a bit is that the "normal US response" to that kind of emergency is "you're paid too much"... salaries will sink eventually, so deep that no one will ever seek them. (got it? deep... seek? haha! ...fck I'm so tired...)

@sinbad most players have absolutely no idea how games are made and who makes them. Some of them may compare a game made with a team of two in a garage, paid in cold pizza slices to a game made by Ubisoft or whatever gigantic company you can name.
