I thought of a really neat idea for a Skyrim mod! To add an extra layer to Azura for players who carry Azura’s Star AND sided with the Stormcloaks. Naturally, these two choices are at odds, since the Dunmer suffer under Ulfric’s views of a free Skyrim, and Azura is the Dunmer’s primary deity.

So a few things could happen:

1. A curse. Carrying the Star angers Azura for making her people suffer more. A debuff for having the Star in your inventory. And/or:

2. A parley with Azura. Return to her shrine and try to convince her of the rightness of your decision. One option pleads to her that you want Skyrim to have independence from the Empire, the same way the Dunmer wished for independence from them. Or you could choose an Intimidate (more like, Renegade) option, where you convince Azura that Skyrim’s freedom means more Dunmer will find their way back into Azura’s arms, to escape and be led away from the hardships that will ensue. You’d tell her that her influence would boom, and perhaps with it, she could seek to guide the Dunner back to their homeland, or stand up for themselves more in Skyrim in the future (this stuff wouldn’t be implemented, obviously. The Dark Elves aren’t all going to poof out of existence in your game, lol). Then:

3. Either as a resolution to prove your merit in #2 or for easy mod implementation , you could be given a pilgrimage of sorts to please Azura. Either a quest, or she would tally up all the Dunmer you helped across Skyrim with their miscellaneous quests. Akin to the Crusader’s Relics pilgrimage to prove your worth.

Kinda excited for a mod release this month for Skyrim. Lordbound, set in Highrock’s part of the Reach, conflicts between orcs and the empire, ya know, the usual :ablobcatbongo:
