Art Garfunkel, who had studied architecture, requested that Simon write a song about the architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Simon knew little about Wright, so just used his name as a substitute and instead wrote a nostalgic song about Garfunkel.

Ze bleven (ik gebruik verleden tijd, omdat ik de laatste tijd niet veel van ze 'bekeken' heb) mij echter af en toe teveel in de 'management/powerpoint-speak' hangen.

@ionica Doet me (wederom) denken aan Koos Verhoeff (#OpaVertelt).

Voor het vak Systeemanalyse stelde hij ons voor de keus:

A. We behandelen het boek en doen daarna tentamen.
B. Wij kiezen de onderwerpen, delen die aan hem mee en lezen ons zelf ook in. Na afloop mogen we ieder zelf, in de klas, ons cijfer kiezen en noemen.

Wij gingen voor optie B.

Wat mij opviel is dat er zelfs een student was, die zichzelf een vijf gaf.

[Later heb ik natuurlijk wel het boek, van Gerald Weinberg, gelezen 😉]
