Amazing! The German translation 'Mathe fürs Leben' of our book 'Rekenen voor je leven' won the Jugendsachbuchpreis 2024 (in the categorie MINT) and our lovely agent Elaine Michon went to the award ceremony in Heilbronn on behalf of @edwardvandevendel, @flodego and me 🥰 (Update: I should also mention translator Sylke Hachmeister who did a wonderful job!)

@amberfirefly My room mate at university was outsmarted all the time by mice. He would build the weirdest contraptions to catch them and the mice always managed to get the food from them and disappear. At one point I expected the mice to leave sardonic notes and requests for the kind of food they would like in the traps.
