I'm actually working in open source 😂 It's hard to find long term AI projects nowadays at least in my field, it's all short term stuff like one-off custom apps, training courses, consulting and the like.

Like, it's easy to pull off a fancy demo, and you can build actual AI products on top. But users can switch providers just as easily, so you have to keep spinning up new services to sell.
