@hacks4pancakes My partner is a math professor. I'm a licensed therapist. On paper, we should be in high-demand, but we also have 2 kids (11 & 13), a mortgage, etc, and moving to another country is an enormous upheaval (as you well know). We'd need some degree of job equivalency waiting for us to avoid massive disruption or a dance with poverty on the other end. Even *with* a guarantee of jobs, it would be incredibly hard, but we'd try, I think
