And while I'm thinking about it, I hope you'll consider following these accounts, too.
@JackTheCat (who I owe one beer)
Plus ten million accounts I don't know about yet.

@skeletor Is that flag, like, spoken for?
"You wouldn't hit a guy with glasses, would you?"
"Are they #Meta glasses?"
Having Donald for a president is like having a dick for a nose.
@skeletor That seems out of character for you, Skeletor. I hope everything's okay.
@econetwork Find the FOSS equivalents and make the switch. Instead of Facebook, use Mastodon, instead of Instagram use PixelFed, and instead of Whatsapp use Signal.
I know it's holier-than-thou and that it's difficult for some people because the software is built in to their jobs. I just hope people are thinking about it.

I see Meta licking fascist boots.
I see Meta sexualizing children.
And somehow, I see people still using #Meta products.
@aral This is a remarkable effort.
@mycrowgirl I don't like to edit posts after they get boosted. In my head it was a sweater with a hedgehog on it but then I was charmed by the idea that the jaded social media user I imagined made it for a specific hedgehog they had befriended.
You don't need a Tesla.
Chevy is building something better.
You don't need Twitter.
Mastodon is building something better.
#Mastodon is a leather-bound tome, a favorite story held close in front of a fire.
#Hive is a $12 paperback, thrust into a lime-green mesh bag with a towel and a tiny bottle of scotch.
#Twitter is a battered copy of Road Rash 3 with no manual or registration card, only a list of passwords for a different game and a crude drawing of a bear making love to a monkey.
When people arrive from X:
"I had twenty thousand followers."
After a couple of weeks:
"I made a hedgehog sweater out of moss."
I'm good at art but bad at coding.
Everyone says Vibe Code it.
That makes me want to barf.
So, seriously. How much for:
- 3D racing engine in #Godot, #Unity, #UE5, etc.
- Model and texture import capabilities
- "Track Editor" for level generation
- Physics for "Traxor" technology (we'll talk)
- Tools for importing 2D graphics, UI, loading, etc.
- Additional controllers, keyboards, etc.
- Networking? Jesus Christ.
It's a lot, but I'm genuinely curious.
@jzillw So it's a little presumptuous but can I borrow three million dollars?
(I appreciate the informative reply.)
Discovering that #LibreOffice includes a #StableDiffusion image generator is like discovering that your peanut-butter sandwich includes a layer of trout spread.
@steter Comic books as an indelible mark on the culture?
That's just me playing the game; I haven't been proud of this country for a long time.
Since we're allowed to just cosplay law enforcement now I'm going to start a group called Not ICE, which I'll abbreviate to NICE. We'll hang around Home Depot parking lots and give people sandwiches.
Odo is the only cop I trust.
I wish G.I. Joe would hurry up because having COBRA in the White House sucks.
People who want to use #AI should have to generate the electricity required using a stationary bicycle, not unlike the one seen on Gilligan's Island.
