@solidsanek I started eating breakfast because when my wife moved in she found it incredibly odd that I only ate once a day (dinner). She started making sure I ate 3 times a day. Now I'm chub. Can't burn off the calories in an office gig. Beware my friend. Beware.

@lain NTSC was complete shit. PAL was better at everything. Better resolution. Smoother motion on screen in spite of a lower frame rate thanks to interlacing. Motherfucking auto hue correction thanks to phase reversal. Doesn't matter now but yanks and Japs missed out. SECAM was straight retardation though. Only Russia, France and French speaking African countries used it.

@solidsanek AC6s last ending is pretty rad. The game was pretty hard to begin with but really eases up once you unlock the Gatling guns and shoulder cannons. Loved the "stay alive" mission with the junk mech too. I'm thinking about replaying FFX over Christmas. A colleague is playing through the PC remastered version and hearing him talk about it is making me want to hear that famous Tidus laugh again.

@lain The great thing about stealing books from coffee shop book shelves is that some nerd has already curated them for you and if you liked what you stole last time you'll likely appreciate the next theft too. I'd recommend it.

@solidsanek LoZ:LTTP for pure nostalgia and something to beat during a plane ride. 6 hours is about enough to get through it 100% AC6 was fun. I quite like Elite Dangerous for VR gaming too.

@lain I'm not completely against it. If you're not going to work the least you can do for the wage slaves is not be hard to look at. If I'm doing my grocery shopping in ALDI at 9pm I don't want some obese uggo crowding out the discounted meats and sandwiches.
