@lanodan ideally this would just be properly customizable but even when you get any options at all, they suck
like for example my monitor lets me choose whether I want the LED when it's on, or off
and I want neither, but it's all I get -

@lanodan leds are annoying too
if the monitor is on, it's a distraction, i don't need a status indicator to tell me that it's on when it is literally showing an image, it's just dumb UX
when it's off, i don't want it lighting up the room
so it only makes sense to alert you that it's in standby, in which case most monitors will blink and that's much more noticeable -
