Hm... I feel weird... They made a decision for all of us in the rest of the world how we should call a fucking gulf. Isn't it pure imperialism?

The cross-poster @mastogram for BlueSky + Telegram + Mastodon is almost ready. Before I finalize the interface, I would like to test the functionality. Who wants to be the first test user?
A good opportunity to appear on two platforms at once!
Share with friends, maybe there are those who are eager.

Did you share this post without reading it? If so, you’re not alone.
A recent study analyzed 35 million news links shared on Facebook and discovered that over 75% were circulated without the links being clicked or the content being read. These links were shared more than 41 million times — a staggering number that sheds light on how social media encourages impulsive sharing rather than informed engagement.
What’s even more telling is the study’s breakdown of where these shares originated. Researchers noted that 76.94% of the links shared without being clicked came from conservative users, while 14.25% came from liberal users. Additionally, up to 82% of the links containing false information were traced back to conservative news domains.

A new wave of spam attacks has flooded Mastodon. Previously, unwanted messages could be managed with content filters, but now the situation is much more complicated: spam posts now only contain images without text, making them harder to filter. If an effective solution is not found, we risk soon being drowned in a flood of spam in the fediverse.

We live in an amazing time—a Pakistani website specializing in publishing fake news created by AI to earn advertising revenue published an announcement of a non-existent Halloween parade in Dublin. The article was picked up by search algorithms and rose in Google's results. Journalists began spreading the news in their publications without even bothering to verify it. As a result, thousands of people came to the square, ready to participate in a parade that didn't exist. #FakeNews #AI #Media #Dublin #Halloween #Misinformation

What do you think could have happened between our year 2024 and the near 2122, in which the entire crew of the spaceship from the movie "Alien" uses only 8-bit computers like Atari or Commodore?

Yesterday, I posted a chart with Mastodon active users to discuss the problems of Mastodon. I also cross-posted it over 10 of my connected profiles. I got max 10 comments on that from all the profiles during the day. Today I posted a similar post on Reddit r/Mastodon and got more than 70 comments in 3 hours. It's much easier to discuss Mastodon on Reddit than on Mastodon itself. Lol.
