The Verifiable Credentials Working Group invites implementations of the following Candidate Recommendation Snapshot: Controlled Identifiers (CIDs) v1.0.

A controlled identifier document contains cryptographic material and lists service endpoints for the purposes of verifying cryptographic proofs from, and interacting with, the controller of an identifier.

The CSS Working Group has published the First Public Working Draft of CSS Display Module Level 4. This module describes how the CSS formatting box tree is generated from the document element tree and defines the display property that controls it.

The Privacy Working Group has published the First Public Working Draft of Global Privacy Control (GPC).
This specification provides a way to signal, through an HTTP header or the DOM, a person's assertion of their applicable rights to prevent the sale of their data, the sharing of their data with third parties, and the use of their data for cross-site targeted advertising." #privacy

The Browser Testing and Tools Working Group has published the First Public Working Draft of WebDriver BiDi. This document defines the BiDirectional WebDriver Protocol, a mechanism for remote control of user agents. In place of the strict command/response format of WebDriver, this permits events to stream from the user agent to the controlling software, better matching the evented nature of the browser DOM.

The newly launched Sustainable Web IG will publish the Web Sustainability Guidelines (WSG). The guidelines are in line with the Sustainable Web Manifesto and aligned with GRI Standards and the UN Sustainable Development Goals to help organizations incorporate digital products and services into broader sustainability reporting initiatives. These guidelines will enable people to better understand the Internet’s impact on sustainability reporting.
