In the past some bright spark decided to bundle bundles together with cable ties, that now need carefully cutting off to release unused bundles.

Worse, some monster cable tied bundles to the pedestals, making pulling them out an absolute nightmare 😵💫

(We’re clearing out at least 30 years’ worth of accumulated cabling under a datacentre raised floor. Lots of voice copper, co-ax (voice and Ethernet), serial cables and even some AppleTalk!)

I finally got to see the aurora 😀

I can’t see the pinky/purple stuff because I’m colourblind, but the green was incredible 🤩
