Meta did this knowingly — fully aware of the law, the fines, and the technical barriers Android puts in place. They pushed through anyway, showing the kind of calculated disregard for rules that’s hard to see as anything but criminal.

They likely weighed the fines against the profits and went ahead. And they’ll do it again, just in a slightly different way.

This is not a company that learns or changes. They don’t respect the law, they don’t care about market rules — they care about control and profit, and they’ll keep pushing until they’re stopped.

So let's stop them.

@Gargron The real question is whether Meta’s circumvention of Android’s safeguards for the advertising ID — and their ability to unmask real user identities — qualifies as a criminal offense under Germany’s anti-hacking law (§202a StGB) or similar international laws governing cyberattacks.

What Meta did wasn’t just a violation of GDPR. It involved bypassing built-in technical protections with the intent to extract and link data — potentially personally identifiable information (PII) — to users without their knowledge or consent.

That is the textbook definition of unauthorized access and data exfiltration.

We need to stop framing this as a regulatory issue or a privacy mishap. This was a malicious cyber intrusion, done knowingly and at scale, by a corporation with full awareness of the legal and technical boundaries it was crossing.

It’s time we start treating it as such.

Genau das sieht von der Decken kritisch. Sie hatte im Ausschuss im Landtag über die Messerattacke am Hamburger Hauptbahnhof berichtet, bei der eine psychisch kranke 39-Jährige am 23. Mai 18 Menschen mit einem Messer verletzt hatte.

Auch die CDU-Abgeordnete Birte Glißmann sprach sich dafür aus, das Widerspruchsrecht in bestimmten Fällen auszunehmen, beispielsweise bei Fremd- oder Selbstgefährdung.

Keine weiteren Fragen, Euer Ehren. Es geht also, genau wie man bei der Parteizugehörigkeit vermuten kann, um arschlöchrige Überwachung und nicht um reale Hilfsangebote, oder gar Verbesserung von irgendwas.
