I just want to be normal

I just found out that Albert Einstein was a real person - all this time I thought he was a theoretical physicist!

The corruptibility of the US-American political system used to be a very effective way to prevent foreign interference, while the USA were the most successful economic force in the world.

In principle I do reject freudianism, but my mother fucks a guy who hit me, is closer to her fathers age than to hers and has the same beard and habitus as her father while my father fucks a girl who is my age, has my hair style, and also is a single mother of an autistic child. Putting all this information together into one sentence does make it sound like their subconsciousness might want to tell me something, doesn't it? But what?

Since everyone is talking about the morning after pill on blue sky today, I remember a lengthy discussion with my mother (who is a gynecologist) about the topic that we had shortly before it was legalized as over the counter medicine. To sum it all up, my mother was allowed to prescribe this drug but had no idea how it works (she only became a doctor by faking her chemistry test and is way too proud off that) and since she as a certified professional must be right about this, I can assure all the women who complain about the forced interview being humiliating that it is absolutely necessary to go through this humiliating experience that could have been an email, because all women except my mother are too stupid to decide what drugs to take. She is a woman, a doctor and a feminist, so you all must be wrong. Sorry I don't make the rules.

People on bluesky are bragging about how powerful their nuclear blocks are, but on mastodon we can block someones whole server if we got one troll over there. That's like a death-star block.

I am mildly exited about the ongoing abortion debate in German politics. If this works, the current government actually would have legalized both cannabis and abortions in one period. that would be so much more than I ever expected from any government. If that works out assisted suicide would be the only field of personal freedom left to fight for. This makes me hopeful.

I am watching this TV show at the moment and in it someone who lost their parents gets adopted by someone who lost their child (both grown ups) which makes me thing.... does anyone maybe want to adopt me? I could really use new parents, mine were absolute assholes and I think I would be a super nice child (like... just don't abuse me and I'll be fine, I am very low maintenance), I would always call on birthdays and stuff. So... if anyone wants to adopt me, my DMs are open, I am taking applications.

In this TV show I recently watched there was a scene where a Holocaust survivor and a Neonazi argue about the Holocaust. The Neonazi claims it was a lie by the USA and only 300.000 Jews were executed. The survivor shows him videos, debunks his fake sources and keeps repeating the number of 6 million Jews being murdered. No mention of the actual number of people who were murdered in the concentration camps: 15.5 million. 6.5 million of those Jewish. It puzzles me how the Nazis managed to spin the conversation around the "were it really 6 million" question so effectively, that the 9 million other victims are being completely forgotten. No one talks about them any more, not even those who try to keep the memory of the Holocaust up. The Nazis already won the debate - they already changed the mainstream narrative about their crimes in a way, that makes their crimes appear way less horrifying than they were. They tricked us into forgetting 9 million murders.

@threecoloured hm. sounds a bit like a trick to make pacifists honor dead soldiers by mixing them together with their victims.
