pros:
- the weller tip system looks really good, i bet performance is wonderful
- i really like the alu body construction
- the strain relieved cable would be great i would probably go through less cables
- i like open source hardware it's good vibe

cons:
- not sure i'm in a position to drop that much on a soldering iron at this stage of my life
