Zucks #Instagram being as creepy as ever …

Sarah Connor watching you use Al for everything

I connected in historical terms recently through Linux with Kill Your FM. I didn’t know @killyourfm was the bearded American version of the clean shaven Englishman me. The growing and gardening is my downtime. My 4 day weekend will be outside up on the Ridgeway with my mega active dog. Cutting down more dead trees and getting the garden ready. Linux connected us though. Odd that https://layer8.space/@killyourfm/116093255938161725 https://layer8.space/@killyourfm/116093255938161725

Now how can I in the UK get involved in this amazing project that @codemonkeymike has started. So inspiring.

@killyourfm Currently watching this. I absolutely agree Linux today can be used by everyone. We need to try and break down that barrier that people think Linux is just for nerds. I daily drive Linux and am not a coder or developer. This is great stuff in this video.

@killyourfm It’s my pleasure to share. Thank you for sharing Mike’s awesome work with us all. You’ve helped spread his inspiration. Imagine if we all just turned round to that person that was throwing their computer away just cause it can’t run the latest Windows or MacOS and installed Linux for them and sat and showed them that it can be used just the same as what they were used to. We all of us in the Linux community should be advocating EndOf10 and Mike’s work we all win. (1/2)

So great to see Jason back. Great episode too. As Ubuntu UK Community lead for me anything that highlights the great things people are doing with Linux is inspiring to me regardless of the distro. We all win when someone moves to #linux Reminds me of when we got involved with KDE lead EndOf10. We all win and we all save landfill. @killyourfm https://layer8.space/@killyourfm/115764138250179665

@killyourfm Great to see you back

I have finally done my #PopOS #COSMICDE #COSMICDesktop setup #linux #COSMIC

@dansup TestFlight version no longer getting updates?

Wondering which #linux distro does #KDE desktop the best.

New @pixelfed build has dropped into TestFlight #pixelfed

@carrottop1023 It will be, it is in review at Apple as we speak

@carrottop1023 You'd have to ask @dansup about that kind of stuff, I only beta tested iOS and Android for pic posting functionality. I'm not a screen reader user, but I hope all that you require is in the app.

@carrottop1023 @dansup Absolutely a great thing to do. I am very aware of the blind and visually impaired community through #AudioMo A lot of the participants over the years have been from the community

@carrottop1023 @dansup If I come across any beta like this that need accessibility to be tested to the full I'll ping them your way. A lot of the people I follow here are from visually impaired community.

Looks like #PixelFed has finally released to Android Store. Want Instagram type platform without any ads or Meta well this is for you. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixelfed&hl=en_US

@dansup @pixelfed Just checking to see if you’re ok Dan, everything ok? Just seen your posts today.

Hopefully there’s a new build of @pixelfed soon, current build is close to running out. #PixelFed https://mastodon.social/@dansup/113667725547465959

@clemensprill @pixelfed “close to running out” I said. 15 days left on the current TestFlight build.
