@ryanabx I will disagree on this point, I feel like a large part of the video was focused on Xaver's issues with the protocol. To me it was clear I was saying there was wide disagreement with the protocol but maybe I could have made that more clear.

Don't forget that December last year was the biggest donation push thanks to the Christmas donation prompt, I'm very curious to see where it gets to this time. It's possible it'll break 100k before December. #Linux #KDE

@slopsec There are protocols that already exist separately in each independent desktop and that's also the point of the experimental tag within Wayland protocols.

The point of frog protocols was to raise awareness of discussion problems within Wayland and it managed to achieve that but ultimately you need agreement within the desktops for any sort of widely useful solutions.

If you want to NACK the protocol just go and NACK it, don't blame for me application developers raising concerns that they would like to see addressed.
