@aral I logged it as VB-106054. That does not tell you much directly as the bug tracker entry is not public but perhaps handy for you if you were to mention/discuss the problem with others having a similar issue, should you want to bring it up again with us, or if you are looking out for it in a furture changelog. That sort of thing. 🤷🏼
P.S. Can you open the about page and just confirm the exact version number of Vivaldi you are running? Thanks in advance!
So we are working on the last stages of the Vivaldi 6.6 desktop release. We are up to release candidate two.
Anyway… I am asking for a little favour not as an employee but in my unofficial role as the Vivaldi flatpak maintainer. 😉
Is there anyone around with x64 Linux, right now? If so I am wondering if one of you can install this flatpak 6.6 RC2 test build and confirm that proprietary media works
Those are both actually just shell scripts run regularly under cron on my work machine, which use cURL to fetch information from various locations and post if any version number updates. Toot is used for the actual posting. 😉
@forteller Ha… I just dropped off my own kid and cycled away on a unicycle (but not in Tøyen! 😉 ).
I can't speak for this other guy but my child and I came by bus and then after that I cycled on to work.
However I have another theory for this person. I know a couple of dads in Oslo whose children unicycle *very* well. Perhaps the kid came on a unicycle as well?
Tomorrow look at the locked up kids "bikes", perhaps one of them is "missing a wheel". 😜
Windows and macOS have the finger command installed by default. On Linux it will may be installed as well but if not finger is an easy install away… or you can use curl like so
I work in QA for #VivaldiBrowser and also handle much of the release process for desktop products.I generally favour very simple technologies that allow me to better understand and fix things. On the other hand Vivaldi is so powerful and permits so much flexibility, that I love it anyway. 😉I am also a keen #unicyclist and a fan of other unusual simple cycles. #ActiveTransport for the win! 🚴Pronouns: He/him/hissearchable
