The old macOS 10.15 machine I was using for testing Vivaldi has been upgraded, despite not supporting newer macOS versions.

It actually can run @Vivaldi 7.0 despite reports to the contrary you might have heard.

There was a problem with the spacing of letters next to the @Vivaldi logo in the main meeting area of our Iceland office.

We set our top designer on it right away. Thanks @atlemo, truely an amazing job! 🤩

The #VivaldiBrowser team is on a team building. While waiting for the ferry @Alacho realised he could "hack" the information kiosk and get Vivaldi installed.

I feel like @jon approves. 🤣

@aral Installed from flatpak, I presume? I will update it shortly. That might improve things.

@aral I logged it as VB-106054. That does not tell you much directly as the bug tracker entry is not public but perhaps handy for you if you were to mention/discuss the problem with others having a similar issue, should you want to bring it up again with us, or if you are looking out for it in a furture changelog. That sort of thing. 🤷🏼

P.S. Can you open the about page and just confirm the exact version number of Vivaldi you are running? Thanks in advance!

So we are working on the last stages of the Vivaldi 6.6 desktop release. We are up to release candidate two.

If is also handy for automated posting. It powers my automated accounts @vivaldiversiontracker and @browserversiontracker which update whenever a new browser releases.

Those are both actually just shell scripts run regularly under cron on my work machine, which use cURL to fetch information from various locations and post if any version number updates. Toot is used for the actual posting. 😉

@forteller Ha… I just dropped off my own kid and cycled away on a unicycle (but not in Tøyen! 😉 ).

I can't speak for this other guy but my child and I came by bus and then after that I cycled on to work.

However I have another theory for this person. I know a couple of dads in Oslo whose children unicycle *very* well. Perhaps the kid came on a unicycle as well?

Tomorrow look at the locked up kids "bikes", perhaps one of them is "missing a wheel". 😜

How does that work? Open a terminal and type the following for Vivaldi versions:
