Windows and macOS have the finger command installed by default. On Linux it will may be installed as well but if not finger is an easy install away… or you can use curl like so

So I made a bot @vivaldiversiontracker on a pure whim last night. It took (max) an hour to get it working (while I was watching TV), and yet it already has more followers than my Oulipo Social account, which has posted 210 posts over several days. My bot has posted just once (so far).

So… my takeaway from this is I am less interesting than an almost silent bot? ?
